MESSAGE FROM WAYNE

Hello my loves,
Gary Starbuck died a week or so ago. He was a good friend of mine, someone I could sit with for long stretches without feeling the need to talk.
I met Starbuck nearly twenty years ago at one of Ramesh's early Talks in Hollywood, California. He had just come from the mountains of Mexico where he had been prospecting for gold. I'm not sure how we became friends but I am quite sure why -- we shared a love and deep respect for Ramesh and his Teaching.
Starbuck later went to Bombay and effectively took up residence on the roof of Ramesh's flat. He stayed several months during which time he extracted hundreds of particularly fine passages from Ramesh's various writings. These were subsequently edited and compiled into one of my favorite Ramesh books -- A NET OF JEWELS.
I will spare you a lengthy discourse on how no one is ever born and no one ever dies and how it is all simply a play of Consciousness or an opportunity to know your True Nature and say: He was a fine man and he is missed.

This DVD is loaded with some fantastic footage of Nisargadatta Maharaj (see if you can pick out the young Ramesh S. Balsekar in some of the scenes). The narrator, Dr. Stephen Wolinsky, offers an excellent overview of the essence of Maharaj's Teaching. Viewers familiar with Advaita may find Dr. Wolinsky's "experiential meditations" to be a bit basic but these may prove useful to those new to the subject.

If it is an inescapable fact that no phenomenon can be perceived unless it is extended in space and protracted in duration, and also that space-time are only concepts without any objective existence, it must inevitably follow that neither any phenomenon nor its perceiver could ever have any objective existence either, that therefore both perceiver and perceived must be only conceptual, existing only as images in Consciousness.
